The Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke follows Meggie, a young girl whose father has the magical ability to bring characters out of books and into the real world. When this gift unleashes dangerous villains from a book called Inkheart, Meggie and her father must navigate perilous adventures, magical realms, and family bonds to set things right. Although it is a trilogy, there is also a sequel to it, which is called The Colour of Revenge, in which an antagonist from the main series comes back for revenge. Honestly, in my opinion, The Colour of Revenge isn’t as good as the main series, but lot’s of people have different opinions. The age rating for this series is either 11 or 12+, and there is some minor swearing, but as long as you’re fine with that, it’s a good series in general, but a lot of the reviews I have read about it dislike the series, so you might have very different opinions on it than me.
