(I don’t particularly like the story that I’m about to show you, so I’m just sharing with you a little snippet of it.)

Thunder rumbled in the distance, and the sky continued to darken. The wind pushed harder against the sails, as James tried desperately to turn the ship around. The whole world seemed to look unnaturally dark, as if it had been drained of all light. Everything was just a maelstrom of cloud and rain. He was surrounded by swirling layers of churning grey water. A jagged streak of lightning tore across the sky, momentarily blinding him. Suddenly, a giant tidal wave crashed into the ship, soaking everything in sight, and knocking the whole ship underwater. The sea hit him like an avalanche of cold, freezing him in place, as he sunk deeper and deeper. He pushed with his arms and legs, but found no leverage. No…The ship soon fill with water…nobody will be able to get out! I have to help them. He thought.

He kicked desperately towards the surface…but it was too late. He felt his lungs fill with water, and the waves formed a heavy blanket, weighing him down. He could see the surface, but he no longer had the strength to get there. His mind was fogging, as he watched the light slowly faded away. His body was fighting for its every last breath of air, but there was none. There was nothing he could do as his vision slowly darkened, the water seemed to shimmer around him, as if he was passing through a veil. And then, it all…went…black.
