The Percy Jackson series is a five book series by Rick Riordan which follows the adventures of the twelve year old boy, Percy Jackson, who discovers that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon. Percy is thrust into the world of Greek mythology when he discovers Camp Half-Blood, a save haven for demigods. He encounters dangerous monsters and goes on daring quests, following prophecies, and preventing the rise of the evil titan, Kronos. Rick Riordan has written a lot of different series such as: The Kane Chronicles, which is about Egyptian mythology; The Magnus Chase series, which is about Norse mythology; The Heroes of Olympus, which takes place after the events of the original series and The Trials of Apollo, which is about the god Apollo being sent to earth as a mortal. If you enjoyed reading the Percy Jackson series, you might want to check out one of the ones I’ve mentioned above. But keep in mind, you should probably read the Heroes of Olympus first, after the Percy Jackson series. There are also lots of smaller extra books, also about the main series. The age rating for the Percy Jackson series in my opinion is 9+, but it may be different for some of the other series.
